Red Dahlias again....

By DolphinLady
So sorry folks that it's the Red dahlias again but they are just so beautiful I have to put them up for you to see how they are growing.
I have counted another 12 buds, so they are going to be with me for a while.

I have 3 more plants getting ready to bloom so beware, there will be more....I think they are going to be yellow & white.
When I bought them, they didn't have labels on, so had no idea what size or colour they would be, so it's quite exciting seeing how they are turning out.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Thank you for your comments & votes on the last one...

A lovely set of images beautiful colours. SmileSmileSmileOne thing that I noticed in these images and the last ones you posted was rather a lot of noise in the images I think it's because your using such high speeds that your camera is compensating by using a very high iOS Smile but as the iOS isn't in the EXIF info it's only a guess. Though you may have intended the noise and grain in which case ile shut upSmile

Compositionally it's V 1 for me, the red dahlias standing out well against the dark wall b/g.
Interesting to read John's remarks and it would be good to know the ISO chosen, and I am a bit surprised at the aperture used too.

Nooo...never apologise for putting up pictures of your flowers! Smile

Such beauties and I really like the shot of them in V1, Hilary. That stone wall is just a perfect backdrop for them! In V2 too.
