Red Hibiscus

These large showy trumpet-shaped tropical flowers typically have yellow stamens and red pistils.
Hibiscus is the state flower of Hawaii, and the red hibiscus is the flower of the Hindu goddess Kali, appearing frequently in depictions of her in the art of Bengal, India, often with the goddess and the flower merging in form.

Meanings:
Consumed by love.
Colour Meaning: Red is a symbol of love and passion.
In North America especially, a hibiscus means a perfect wife or woman.
In Victorian times, giving a hibiscus meant that the giver was acknowledging the receiver's delicate beauty.
The Hibiscus Flower’s Message: Youth, fame and beauty are very much like hibiscus flowers, which have short lives.
