Red Mist

By jeanie
While I was stood on the top of the world (or so it felt) the other week in Snowdonia, shooting sunrise across the Snowdon Horseshoe, I looked back along The Horns and saw this mist blow across the area... I did think.. "oops may get caught on here" though I was close to a clear path back down if that had been the case. Behind me the skies were clear. Just goes to show how quickly the situation on the hills can change. Anyway, I loved the layers and the colour as the sun broke through the mist. Funny enough my pal Chris was up high on the opposite side of Pen Y Pass getting his version of sunrise from over there... He saw this too - and thought I was caught in it.. and I thought he was caught in it.. yet neither of us were.. it was just in the middle till the sun burned it off!

Smile

I can just imagine Jeff. I immediately started thinking of decamping though I was not too far away from the Pyg Track so knew I would be ok there.. first hand experience of how fast it came and went though. Smile
