Red or White Sir ?

By chase
Another from my difficult session with the Lensbaby Spark, coupled with the Sweet 35.

Lit with a small, handheld LED light camera left and up high.

Was always my intention to post process this with a painterly feel and a texture layer, hence, I used a light bg so the texture layer would be easier to drop on, maintain its colour and be much more effective.
The Wasp ?? I had to Wink

I tried to focus on the grapes this time, just about made it Blush
Again, I think this would make a good print on some art paper and complimentary to yesterdays' image.

Please note, no scissors were harmed during the making of this image Wink

Thanks for dropping by.
Constructive critique and mods welcome.
Be good, stay safe and smile.

Subtle beauty. I like the wasp. It's not intrusive but breaks up the empty space really well.

Another interesting image. Keep the wasp it could become your trademark like.... Robert (Mouseman) Thompson (7 May 1876 8 December 1955) was a British furniture maker. He was born and lived in Kilburn, North Yorkshire, England, where he set up a business manufacturing oak furniture, which featured a carved mouse on almost every piece.Smile

I visited the place he had in Kilburn, many years ago, my Daughter has a lovely wooden chopping board made there with a mouse on the handle......hmmmm, I feel a 'borrow' coming on Wink

Another very likeable image Janet. I prefer this one as it's more of a piece (no scissors). And the wasp nicely adds to the space, aiming for the grapes?

PS Another 'mouse man " was Terence Cuneo who painted among a lot else steam locomotives and from the mid 50's always included a mouse in the scene.

I prefer this to yesterdy's too. Simpler.
With the scissors it could have been a book cover for an Agatha Christie style novel Smile

I do not know one Lensbaby from another....and I think this is a photo that really takes advantage of the qualities of a Lensbaby....
