Red Screes

By JohnEW
Taken last year from a somewhat precarious perch atop the Wasdale Screes, just below the summit of Whin Rigg (seen from afar in another photo earlier in this PF). The distinctive red scree is also seen on Great Gable's "Hell Gates". Combined tone maps from single RAW using Photomatix & PS. 18mm f/7.1 1/180 ISO100
