Redbreast

By martinjp
This capture of a robin was taken whilst watching my son fish on Saturday...The bird was taking maggots from his bait tray, dissapearing into the undergrowth where the cries of growing young were eager to accepth their maggot feed. As a thank you, i'm sure, he modelled for me on a brach close by...Hope you like him... Thanks for my clicks and comments for my little egret, as ever much appreciated. WinkWinkWink

This is a super shot of the robin Martin and I love the framing, they are such friendly little birds so you caught a robin did your son catch any fish? WinkWinkWink

A fine detailed shot Martin.
And the last time I went fishing I can't remember how many fish I caught.
But I spent over 4 hours in the pub,
and spent more than 27 !!

I love the way the shadows has given it a little bit of modelling.

A little beauty. Our local robins are as tame as anything, they don't seem to be fazed by us. Anyway, great shot.
