Redcar Steel works 2021

By scuggy
Shot from low tide point across the beach in Redcar, the now mothballed Blast Furnace and Steel converter lies dormant hoping for an upturn in fortune and a return of steelmaking capacity on Teesside. The image was taken centre-jour which provided copious reflections on the beach and silhouetted the steel works against the sky.

A lot of what you see is no longer recoverable, probably wishful thinking now, unfortunately. If Brexit had been 5 years ago maybe.
