super capture Ed, wonderful light, colour, and pov
A nice way to see the city, by water. A great shot..........Sandy
They ought to hire you as a cab driver mate......
The wake of the boat is added interest to this capture, Ed, and quite a variety of different craft on the river. Carol
Clicked earlier but was called away for my dinner! Fine view along the Avon with the variety of craft tied up along the banks: full of interest and detail, and captured under sunny bright conditions.
excellent capture .
A splendid sharp and well composed shot.
Good pov Ed, captured the water movement well.

Don't think so mate that would be a role suited for gary_d, that is his profession and he's just like the Robert De Niro character in the film "Taxi Driver", I certainly wouldn't want to rub him up the wrong way he is da main man! My geography skills are not that good i may be able to find my way around but i haven't a clue about the street names, I had to use multimap to find the name of the road and the bridge despite me walking across it countless times over the past ten years or so!
Come on Ed I will have to live up to the star billing you give me. - gary
Never underestimate the power of the Durbinator, no bird or beast is safe from your long lens!
Smashing shot Ed', have a great Weekend.

You are just like the guy Ryan Gosling plays in the film Drive but more sophisticated and without the dodgy driving gloves and clothing! I bet you'd never even think of donning gloves until the temperature dropped to at least -20!
what amazing light, and such an interesting full of life image it is Ed
I once worked in the Kodak Service Centre in Bristol many years ago and I never knew it was such a photographic city.
Grand series Ed.
Lovely light and colours, Ed - this image really draws one into the frame.

I quite agree - done very well with this shot Ed - as Sylvia says above "this image really draws one into the frame"
Many thanks for all your comments and clicks, they are much appreciated, Ed
like those warm tones...
Love the composition and glorious light, this is a great picture.
I like your new portfolio pic, especially the hat.
I took this one yesterday when on a trip to Slimbridge, the weather was freezing!
Another excellent capture,Ed,well done,
Park your boat instead of your car here Ed, shades of Venice in this part of the city surely!
