I recognise the view from the image you posted a couple or so back, Ed: I suppose the river traffic now is centred on the boating fraternity whereas in the past there would have been a lot more commercial traffic and the buildings on the right would have been warehouses, now converted into flats by the look. A very fine shot along the Avon......the nearest I have been to here was seeing the R. Avon at Tewksbury in 1992 when we stayed nr. Burford.

A bust waterway, judging by the number of small craft moored alongside, Ed, well composed and captured. Carol

What a fine stretch of old waterside buildings, Ed. No doubt used today as extortionately over-priced apartments!

At least a lot of the old warehouses have been converted rather than pulled down! I bet those flats have wonderful views...

It was Lillian but alas it is no more, it took it's last photograph back in late March last year before it finally packed up

Beautiful place, well taken. Nice composition with those imposing buildings on the right and the park like left side.

A lot of similarity between this and your upload of 3 feb Ed, seems like there`s a lot of wealthy folks live in Bristol judging by these condos or flats along the waterfront!
Rgds., Jim
