The sun went down completely bypassing the sunset due to a large bank of cloud, but looking at this cloud I knew it would be worthwhile hanging around to wait for the afterglow which can often be more impressive than the sunset itself bringing some rich vibrant colours.
The wind was quite strong blowing the grasses around so I decided to emphasise this movement by fitting a 3 stop ND filter to the 2 other grads to extend the shutter speed and give a longer exposure.(6secs f6.3 @ 11mm 0.9 + 0.6 reverse ND grad + 0.9 ND filters)
