Only one shot but what a little beauty! My brother-in-law took several images of little brown birds bathing by the fish pond stream. It was only after they went onto the larger screen we discovered they were a pair of Redpolls. Hadn't had any idea they lived around here!

A fine shot of a bird I've never seen, you've definitely made the most of your one shot at it! There have been a small flock sighted a few miles from where I live, so I may try and find them in the next few weeks if i've the time
