Reed Bunting jnr

A juvenile male Reed Bunting feeding on the seed head of a common reed. As Mike (Mike_Smith) commented on a previous image: "You like your Reed Buntings"... and I do; one of my favourite small birds.

I am grateful to those who responded to my previous image, "Pochard" and especially to Steve (sparrowhawk) for his valued UA.

Everything works really well together her to create a lovely image of the Reed Bunting; the soft colour and texture of the reed, the clean background, the detail and light on the bird. I also like the falling seed head.Smile
