I now know there are two different birds in these images .Meadow pipits, Lead image & V3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9
Reed buntings V1, 2, 8, 10, 11
There are differences in plumage, but the beaks are different, Pipits fine and pointy, Buntings stout and stubby.
Also Pipits have a very long rear claw which you can see in images.
All on the same bit of barbed wire amazing.

Cracking set of sharp and detailed captures Debs. I’m not convinced there all Reed Buntings, I could be wrong though. The lead looks like a meadow Pipit
