Reed Warbler

By harrattp
Hi All, thanks for the great response to the Willow Warbler it really was much appreciated.

This time I spent the day hunting for something different; again in the company of Richard. I found it in the shy little Reed Warbler. These little chaps are notoriously shy and usually stay well hidden in the depths of the reeds. This one was no different he was darting in and out of the reeds all day long, but occasionally stayed still long enough for a few shots.

V1 I was very lucky to get him to pose on a reed with a clear shot for me.

V2 Not so clear shot, but boy was he giving me a mouthful as you can see.

Please take the time to view large.

Cheers
Paul

A pair of beauts Paul. My ears are still ringing from the calls of warblers today.
A fantastic afternoon and a challenge and a half. These pair are stunners in the small openings and in full song always a great bonus.
Timed to perfection and showing greta detail and environment.
Thanks again for the great company now charge that bloody iphone...lol
