Lovely composition but, for me, the less green the better. Might try B&W or desaturate the green. Just one more thing , the frosted stalks in the foreground covering the tree reflection spoil the effect. Sorry to be so picky but you did ask.
Very nice location and looking good with the frost but it is a shame the reflection of the tree in v1 is a bit spoiled with the foreground
Thanks for the comments,
Geo...no need to apologize, I often overlook the obvious and find it really helpful when people comment honestly, so thank you.
Composition in both are excellent I love them, but I feel a frame would help to stop the horizons from falling out.
Super reflections.Well taken.
These have a completely different feel to them than the crispness of the trees / fence images, being more pastel and soft.
I am not suggesting it is wrong, just the opposite really as they convey to me of a misty, cold, icy morning. ( Now tell me it was the afternoon ! )
Perhaps a minor adjustment to darken the blacks would help the reflections stand out little more.
Actually Jeff it was the afternoon!! But -4 with iceburgs floating down the river, so still cold and icy!!
Thanks for the comments
Very nice images Julies, love the reflection
