Reflected light

By helenlinda
I saw this patch of light in the back yard the other evening. Couldn't work out where it had come from. Turned out it was reflected off the side window. Really caught my eye as it created a shadow in a place that never gets a shadow!
I think the mono has more impact, so will upload that as v1
Thanks for looking
Helen

Mono gives me the shivers-- not so bad with color

Well seen - and in your back yard, too!

WOW!

Both work well but I prefer the colour version, agree with Jen the B/W looks quite creepy.

I prefer mono precisely for that hard cold mystery. Interesting comparison though!

Mono does have the more impact, but I prefer the colour and tones.Nice detail in the grain of the different types of wood. And of course, these super shadows.Another good one Helen.

A lovely, imaginative and well seen shot Helen. I very much prefer the colour ( if I have to choose ).

Strong shot Helen. Love the strong lines in the mono version and the lovely warm light and tones in no. 2. They're just completely different.

Got to be the B&W version. Has a kind of Tim Burton movie feel to it. Dark, brooding and definitely a place not to go!
Or in other words the place in American teen movies were the kids say "that looks a dark and dangerous place. Lets split up and go and look" Smile
