Reflecting......

By Jmag60

Taken today (12th April 2021) an old biker friend of mine had parked his bike in our local town centre, I caught my refection in the chrome and decided a photo or two was in order.
What a difference 19 years make!!!! My image caught in a two wheeled machine of a kind that I'll never be able to use again, a two wheeled dream and me in a four wheeled nightmare.
Version shows me in 2002 (scanned print) on one of my motorbikes, those were the days!
My last bike had to be sold just after my accident in 2015, my Harley being ridden away by someone else.....a bad day to say the least!!!Sad

Thanks to all that have taken the time to view, vote, comment and given UA's on my previous uploads. All very much appreciated.

Stay safe and well,

JohnSmile

PS: Yes my hair was like that!! Tongue

Hey you!

To handle such trauma and still be out there talking openly about yourself and feelings is really inspirational.

A brilliant image of yourself reflected in the chrome of your mate's bike, so that photo was definitely in order John! Also noticed there is someone in there photo bombing!

You keep well and keep your images coming!

Best wishes.
Kath

We had a Suzuki and then a Honda. A totally different ride for sure. Supper capture in the lead. Well spotted.

Very clever image John. You must miss your bike and that is sad. I think most of us have hair like that unless we have managed to get to the hairdressers! Debs

The bike in the version is a 1982 Honda GL500 Silverwing (20 years old in the photo), imported to UK from USA, and had a full "nuts and bolts" restoration completed by myself. It was my pride and joy for a number of years before passing it on to a new ownner for an offer I couldn't refuse.
