I thought they were plastic ducks when I first looked at the thumbnail! A great reflective shot, Johanna.
Have a great time in Scotland - I'm going to Bath in Somerset next week...where the floods are! Sad

I would favour V1 if it wasn't for that reed bottom left...
V2 is wonderfully strange. They remind me of Golden Delicious apples floating.
Have a wonderful holiday. Real or virtual I wonder? (I remember your virtual tour of Scotland years ago, it was fun).

V2 is a fascinating composition. This could be an art installation.

A pair of very original reflective shots, Johanna - terrific clarity and wonderful rich colours. V2 reminds me of the Golden Apples in the Garden of the Hesperides:

"Heracles on his penultimate task was asked to pluck three golden apples from the tree of the Hesperides, (nymphs of the evening). Gaia, the earth-mother had given Zeus and Hera golden apples as a wedding gift. Hera planted them in her garden, which was far to the west and close to Mount Atlas. To guard the apples Hera sent Ladon, an immortal monster with one hundred heads." Taken from Encyclopedia Mythica

Have a wonderful time in Scotland.
