It is nice to see a photojournalism type photo. I good image showing it as it is. It is a pity the skullcap disappears into the sky, otherwise a great image.

Did you use fill flash, looks like it, technique spot on. Strong composition and an emotive image.

David, check your monitor settings, there is sufficient contrast between the skullcap and sky for me. This isn't a pictorial entry Wink

Cheers John, yup, fill in flash used as the sun was beginning to set way off to the back right of the subject.
As John said David, I would check you monitor as the image looks fine on mine.
