Cyril Joystick and Bunty Fondant, fun loving cousin of the irrepressible Gwendoline, giving it large (as I believe you young people say) above the beaches of Rummage in the Dunes.
Pulled, screaming with reluctance, from the archives, tweaked in Affinity and, like the photographer*, a little hazy and heavily cropped (DIY lockdown haircut ... brutal but effective).
* aka 'clueless clot with camera.'
Many thanks to all who took the time and trouble to vote and comment on whatever it was I last burdened you with and to those who kindly awarded 'Tulips and a hernia' ... in fact I think that was the last thing I uploaded. Thanks also to EG who has just bunged in a much appreciated gong for the same. PM to follow - message not Boris. 🥴
With apologies for my random and erotic ... ? ! ... erratic contributions, yours subject to viral loading, Serge Testing.

Cracking shot bit worried that you stopped the prop action with the shutter speed but at least they didn't fall from the sky

A super image, illustrating your title very well, and with great details in the planes. Mind you at 1/2000 exposure, you would stop most things moving!! I hope Cyril and Bunty landed O'K, with no power in their engines!!!

You do know the difference between a wing and a winge, don't you? So, do you have a wing man and a winge man and do you remember to tell the difference? If not, you may well end up with a wingeing wingman...

My first thought was - mating in mid-air? Well I know some birds pull it of. So to speak...
I'd better stop there... Blush

Lovely stuff Cyril ... bringing much joy to everyone's sticks

Even if Bunty has upstaged Gwendoline on this occasion

Cyril, sporting an aircraft 'borrowed' from our friends across the pond had found that posing as an ' overpaid and over 'ere' was beneficial in marketing his somewhat dodgy 'nylons' made in his shed from a heady mix of shredded nettle stems and cat urine ( squeezing out same from neighbourhood cats not the most pleasant of tasks and rather noisy, hence the high price of 1/3d each leg, as per NHS gloves).

Here our very own joystick fondler can be seen indulging in a little hard sell to what he had assumed was a lady ferry pilot, not knowing it was in fact Bunty, who, like her cousin Gwendoline, never wore underwear of any sort as it only 'wasted time and got in the way somewhat'.

Shortly after, an urgent radio message crackled ( why do radio messages always crackle?) into both our intrepid aviators headphones that there were Bandits at 8 o'clock, but thankfully no actions were needed as Cyril was a Tunnocks man and Bunty only ate Kit Kats and both took biscuits only at tea time, 8 o'clock being far too early for chocolate bars.

Here Bunty can be seen shouting 'Tallyho, there's a Jolly Roger down at the docks and I'm in need of just that', Cyril just took another sniff of the white powder he kept in a baccy tin in his flying attire, sighed and returned to base with a silly grin on his face, dilated pupils and an unsold bag of rather smelly stockings.

An aviators life was not always an easy one.

Welcome old chap, hope all is well.Smile No time for shutter clicking sadly as Marge the Barge has priority but I pop in most mornings to see who is about. Happily you were!Grin Best wishes to Matron and advance warning to her that my 'Fortified Ovaltine', other mind bending night drinks are available but I know not from where, supply has dwindled to Red Alert, send some by drone immediately, or sooner.

My Dear Bertie fresh supplies of Matron's Medicated Ovaltine on the way. Bunty will drop them. Expect soft landing on towpath next to Marge the Barge. Yours ever, Gusset ... ?!🤭 ... Gussy Finknottle and the Newts. 😀

Nicely done Mr Testing, or perhaps 'Props dude' would be acceptable, it's another phrase used by those 'young people' that you mentioned.
Sorry for being a bit late with this, when i think of a reasonable excuse i'll send itBlush
