72 years ago today my half-brother was one of the people who lost their lives when HMS Glorious along with the two sister ships were attacked and sunk. My husband and I attended a short memorial service at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, today and hope that these brave men will never be forgotten. J.

They will NEVER be forgotten Joan, how sad that your half brother lost his life at such a young age. As Jim said above, our Countrymen and women are still losing their lives......will we ever learn I wonder. Sending you thoughts and hugs today.

So many still losing their lives. Am just glad that I have a brother who has survived 22 years of various operational theatres. A lovely tribute to them all. Moira

They will never be forgotten as long as people and photographers like you are around to remind us. And we need reminding. You would think humans would become more sophisticated as we evolve...and engage in less and less acts of barbarism.
