As a member of the Forces lays a wreath at the Memorial amidst the children and parents of the community..... the shadows of three people on the other side gave a haunting quality to the feel of this photo. . . .

This is well composed. I agree the shadows give it a haunting feeling, especially so because you have used selective focus to fuzz out the foreground. Very effective.
