Many thanks for all c/c's and mods on yesterdays Church image, so grateful for your efforts and your time - the difference in each mod was huge and quite a learning curve, so thankyou to those that did the mods very much appreciated and to all that commented. I am sorry I didnt get round to viewing all PF's yesterday I will make a special effort today.
I have a new iPhone cor! thats a learning curve in itself and why did I bother? dont ask but one has to try at least to keep up with technologyWink the most confusing thing - ALL my contacts from the web went into my phone beside those I wanted anyway, last evening I spent an age deleting all the ones I dont need it was too confusing for me as an oldieGrin
I wait now to see what today brings forthTongue

A most pleasing rural scene and for me No. 1 has more atmosphere.

You are keeping up with the times, Ann, all I have is a 20 euro mobile, suitable for making and receiving calls and nothing else Smile Carol

Is that your country retreat, Ann? Smile No b&w today, too many lovely vibrant colours. Topaz 'photo pop' and 'HDR light grunge' in the mod, then brightened slightly in cs5.

Why I or anybody else would want the Internet on a ruddy phone beats me, I thought it a good idea but believe me its not what it might seem end of the day - I use it as a phone, FULL STOP,

Well lit and coloured shots Ann.
And I just have a ''cheapie'' mobile for emergencies.
I just know how to make calls and receive them.
It is all I need to know really !!

A home miles away from anyone else where you can pull up the drawbridge, arm the machine gun turrets and retire - heaven made of bricks, and a very nice image of it too. Like the mods too.

As for the iPhone, I have always kept up to date with cutting edge technology. Why should I stop now just because I am old?

A lovely typical English countryside scene, and a lovely capture Ann Smile Think I go for the brighter V2 as my fave, but both versions are delightful Wink
I'd be lost without my iPhone...and it enables me to view EPZ anywhere! Grin

I think I prefer v2 but I think the purist will go for V1.

My mobile phone cost just under a fiver. It does not do photographs, I do not know how to text and I have great trouble answering the damn thing but I do carry it about in case of an emegency.

A lovely village scene Ann, you've composed this one so superbly. I have a slight preference for v2 as it is brighter and there is a greater contrast between the light and shadows
