I took myself off to Clacton on sea on Saturday afternoon to give myself a bit of a challenge.
I have not seen many if any photos of Clacton pier and wondered why? was it hard to get a composition or was it simply not very photogenic I did not know so had to go and find out if there was something worth the 1 and a half hour trip from Norfolk.

I got there and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at what you could achieve there, when we arrived it was very moody and actually it worked well for me as I do love mood in my images, so here is the finished result.

I used the shift function in my tilt shift lens to create a 5 image panoramic of Clacton Pier.

Great image. I like the streaks and swirls within the surf.
