Excellent - you've isolated the real picture and added strength without losing its own character. I think I'd have allowed a few pixels more above the lettering, but no other difference.

I would like to see the treatment applied to version 2 so that the lettering is in context.
I do like the way you have isolated the graffiti part of the image and your PP work on it. I also kind of like v2 for showing the entire scene.

Looking at my mod, I think cropping the top part above the wall, and leaving the leaves would also work well 
It's easy when you can scroll up to crop it off and then compare.
