Restore me

My auntie many moons ago asked me what i could do in respect of restoring this image which i have but would like to see if it can be enhanced further.
This upload is the original that i scanned. Comments and help greatly received.

I have just uploaded two - so far. One was a straight restore. Second is b&w but frame removed.... not sure I did the image justice....

Agree with above it wasnt in the best of wear and shape but you all and software did the image proud thanks all

Jeanie your last upload is just right in my veiw can i ask are you using photoshop and what did you mean by neat image?.

Hi Lee - was about to pm you but your pm is disabled.
I used Photoshop CS2, mainly using the healing brush and the clone tool to remove all the spots and creases.
Neat Image is a program I got last night, hence the late update on the last image. I was rather impressed with the difference it made. Worth paying for! It got rid of the excessive noise on the photo. PM me if you want any further inf. Jeanie
