I was wondering what to do with that award...

Pushing all the buttons here, Phil.

Thanks. It seemed an apt assignment to go on after recent portfolio postings related to flooding. It should have been done two weeks ago, but Storms Ciara and Dennis got in the way.

The shoot took place in biting wind, around 1000 feet up on a hilltop. I had to lug the holy trinity of L lenses plus lighting and tripod over boggy ground.

I tend to pre shoot stuff like this in my head before I get to a location. It saves time when you have failing light. If I was to nitpick a slower shutter speed would have helped with the turbine blades, but between the wind and shivering I don't think the OS would have coped.

So, the big question now is, can I agency it to a national? Can't see the Mail and Express being big on vegan vicars.

A good Old Testament quote might help the Mail. I reckon there's scope for making even reactionaries complicit in responsible dominion over all the earth...

Dudler. The Old Testament is interesting as God deals with the nation of Israel, but also points out that we are also responsible for our own individual behaviour, and how we deal with others around us justly. The church of England had a campaign a few Lents ago where they asked with regard to acting globally 'who is my neighbour'. Now, I wouldn't go vegan, but I have made slight changes to reduce my impact.
