Went out on the spur of the moment last night in the hope of some decent light, but was somewhat disappointed, as the sun went behind a bank of grey cloud.

However, there was still some decent cloud, so headed to the Ladybower/Derwent Dams. They are fairly low at the moment, and they have revealed some of the old posts that were used for the railway track that brought the stone used in the construction of the dam walls.

Got bitten to death by the midges as well, despite use of repellant, in fact they seem to like it!!

Have a great weekend all, and enjoy yourselves.

Perfect composition here Martin, and that little touch of pink in the clouds really sets things off!
