Thank you all for your comments on hallelujah. Unfortunately I have no idea why the woman was so happy.

This old dog is called Rex. I am fostering him with a view to adoption this coming Thursday. He has had one careful lady owner who sadly died. Her son tried to keep him but was leaving him for very long periods which made Rex unhappy. Poor thing has now come to live with me.

He is fourteen years old, has had fifteen teeth removed and has just jumped up on the bed next to me. He snores, does not beg and loves chicken. I have a feeling that he is going to have to get used to having his photograph taken!

He is absolutely delightful and probably showing his best side right now until you have signed the adoption...and then...Wink
