Rhododendron from Wanaka

By Jocelia
HI everyone,
I had ready about three varients of flowers that I had taken in N.Z. But this Protea deserves a mention all on it's own.
Simply because it looks as if it is grown from silk and velvet. The bushes of these blooms were outside the entrance to our
hotel in Wanaka. I had quite forgotten that I had taken it until I delved into the flower album.
Now, I hope you can enjoy it. Again don't ask me of it's Latin name of that I am completely ignorant.

I can see from the c/c's and votes that you enjoyed yesterdays capture and that pleases me no-end.
Do have a great day everyone and enjoy your browsing through todays postings………..
Thankyou again for all your support and encouragment, I hope to catch up with all of your postings once I have finished my
prep for the family comimg on Friday………..

PS I have change the header, apologies for naming the flower wrong.
I must do a b it of study on what flowers and shrubs names are.
Thanks for putting me right to Joanne, Ronnie and many others………..Jocelia

Absolutely surreal Jocelia,i didn't think proteas would grow in N.Z, thought it might be too cold for them.
