Rialto

By Mayfly
Guess you all know where this is...

I'm sure it's been done to death but just had to give it a pop while I was in Venice.

This is a composite of 6 images put together to try and get rid of all of those tourists and boats... 20 sec exposure helped Smile

cheers for looking,

Andy.

Excellent shot. Always difficult with flood lights and whether or not they burn out large chunks of the scene but you have controlled it well. Image has a 3d feel to it...great place can't wait to go back.

Great work. I was wondering how you got rid of all the people Grin This place is never "empty" of people as i can recall. Fab shot.

Not often it looks as quiet as this. Pity about the advertisement but they seem to do a lot of this - the Bridge of Sighs was ruined by advertising for Lancia recently, not that it would persuade me to buy one, quite the opposite in fact. This is a beautiful tranquil image with well controlled exposure.
