For your first DSLR shot Colleen absolutely awesome.Your lead in with the wood ramp and the Composition is magnificent. I see your manual mode is spot on too 1/125th sec @ F/16,. Your exposure has allowed your lens to capture some of the gorgeous clouds and Blue sky. The quality in your image is top class and the focus is spot on. Well Colleen for a first effort, this is a great try and something you should remember as your technique develops into your field of expertise. Jolly well done you Biscuit you...John

Colleen, this is beautiful - and if this is your first attempt with your new camera - we had all better watch out!! Smile The ramp draws the eye right into the image and the colours are spot on. Very well done! Smile

The ramp is a great lead in, you are right to go manual, when you master it you will get so much more out of the camera. - gary

Wide angle, small aperture to make thingspin sharp; haven't quite got to grips with correct shutter speeds yet, but looks pretty goodto me. I see you managed to get the point of my bow in the shot; I moor is there so that the neighbours don't get jealous Grin
