Riders in the snow!

By franken
I couldn't think of another title!

When I first uploaded this in 2007 it was suggested that I removed or lightened the shadows on the riders.

I thought I'd give it a go and this was the result. This version was going to be submitted to a camera club competition but I left the club before I submitted it.

Taken in the Swiss Alps. I remember losing all contact with my feet for some time!Smile

They appeared out of the gloom.

Thank you Graham - Digital_boi for the UA greatly appreciated.

I love the glow of the colour and the starkness of the mono, so both faves for me today.
(Ooh, I've just noticed the foal as per Rolepics' comment above. What a shame it didn't show itself a bit more).

What a great image Ken - I really can't decide, but I think on balance I prefer the colour. It's a real winner; shame you didn't get it into that competition.

It is so hard to choose which version here - I love the mono so much - and the light in the coloured version is so good too - impossible for me to choose I think - what a great capture.
