Another image from my last workshop and another reminder about how long it can take me to digest images and decide if I like them enough!..While trying to look for alternatives to the classic “down the causeway” shot, the pool of water was the initial draw for this image but the pattens in the sand also caught our attention. Initially I was disappointed that they were not lining up with the mount itself however I now feel they add enough to the image, especially now the black and white conversion has pulled more details and drama out of the sand.
