Ripples and Rings

Bit of a quirky shot? I like rings, ripples, interference patterns with waves etc... so I was taken by these patterns on Ullswater, shot from quite high up and a significant crop. The people in the boat were having fun zooming round the island.

Totally agree with Tony and first glance is abstract and then you focus! Just how high were you?!

Excellent and love the grainy feel which adds doesn't detract.

Thanks Kath, Tony for your comments and John for your excellent mod. You always push me furtherGrin! I've uploaded the original for interest. I estimate - looking at the OS map - I was about 450m above the water and 1.75km from the small island (Norfolk Island). It needed a fair degree of process to get something out of the shot!
