Ripples Of A Sunset

By JanieB43
Sundown over the River Mersey.............

Taken from near the Echo Arena on the Liverpool side looking across the sandbanks exposed at low tide towards Wallasey on the Wirral Peninsula.I was drawn to the patterns in the sand created by the retreating waters which were highlighted by the golden light of the sunset whilst the sky was a beautiful mix of pale yellow and heather tones.

I hope you like it............please go LARGE & F11 if you've time.

A well chosen viewpoint to capture that water track through the sand bank, carrying the eye into the estuary and across to the city.
Wonderful golden colours.

A well seen image, Jane, the way the pattern in the sand snakes it's way into the scene adds great foreground interest Smile
