Rise & Fall ...

By sut68
Finally managed to get out yesterday for my first shoot of the year ... me and 'the wife' didn't travel too far particularly as the sky was so clear, Crosby ended up being our destination of choice seeing as the tide was in. It was mighty cold down there, but it was some good fun none-the-less irrespective of the idiots listed below.

Took this particular image before a large family of arrogant muppets came in and trampled over all the lovely pristine wet sand around this statue ... they walked in front of my camera and all round this statue oblivious of this particular big bloke already set up - with the tripod, lens and filters pointing at this statue probably think that I am just needing some human interest for scale!!! They then had the brass neck to set up a full family shoot around it before realising that I was actually trying to take a shot ... I left making my feelings known quite obviously towards them, just waiting for the husband/dad to say summat ... he doesn't know how lucky he was!!!

Anyway, rant over ... it felt good to be out again, a little rusty, but it soon came back to me Wink

Love the faint outline of the Welsh hills in this one!!!

Simply stunning love the calmness and colours and simplicity of this photo.
One for the Wall definitely.
And also love the fact you used a zoom lens for this too considering it looks sharp front to back.
Have a deserved award.

Always seems to bring out the muppet's when your camera is pointing at anything of interestSad the other one that always makes me smile is when your taking some shots that everyone walking by always manage to pull out the camera or mobile phone and start to take pictures of exactly the same thing your shootingTongueTongueTongue

Very striking image by the waySmileSmile

Seemingly so Ron, sad really ... there were plenty of others hovering around trying to see what I was taking and even politely asking questions. Then these morons came along and just did whatever they wanted ... sod everyone else!!!

Always keep you anti-arrogant-muppet spray in the camera bag, or a large gun.
Know exactly how irritating that is...especially when they don't respond to The Glare...

A brilliant shot despite the difficulties Wink
