Ritsons Falls

Ritsons Falls near Wasdale Head, Wastwater, Lake District.

In order to get close enough, had to walk over some pretty boggy ground. On the way back to the path I trod on what thought was a patch of wet grass & promptly dropped into a muddy bog almost up to my waist. Survival instinct kicked in and I immediately held the camera above my head! My dear lady wife Tania worriedly asked if I was OK... "Never mind that, hold on to my camera!" I replied Wink Took me quite a while to 'recover' in the local pub ...

lovely well presented image, great story too, which i had a simillar one while slipping on the rock the only thought i had was for my friend to grab the camera quickly before i went down.Smile
