Road to the sea

By mlseawell
A trip to Antelope Island didn't seem to hold much promise yesterday and yet, there I was. Dark, overcast and utterly grey one had to question the sanity of going. But I've learned something about Antelope Island in my time here in Utah, it can surprise you. And just as nothing seemed to be happening the sky cracked and the most beautiful soft light emerged over the land, really transient and lovely. Road to the sea

LOL! I assure you I was outside the vehicle when this capture was made.
Nature has a habit of surprising us when we least expect it.
Sunlight breaking through the cloud cover illuminates the curve of the road and belies the thought that all roads in the new world are arrow straight.
