Road trip to Florida and Back #1

By handlerstudio
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
In February, I made a road trip from Philadelphia to North Palm Beach Florida for a craft show, my first in a year. (Remember, I make a living a studio furniture maker, [link removed by ePz]. In the end, the show was not productive. Typically I go to shows with my furniture to attract potential clients who want custom furniture i have done well in Florida in the past....and this is of course, a year like no other. Going down....other than staying in North Florida on the way down (Florida is VERY big..north-south and east-west), I drove hard going down and took more photo breaks on the way back. This set is of an exhibitor's car....which if I remember right, was at one time a '48 Plymouth. I think there is probably almost nothing original....and it is quite something to see....as is the trailer he tows behind it for his work.

What a lovely car even if it isn't original. He's done a great job on it. And the trailer too. Super set Peter.

I remember my Dad having absolutely no use for a Plymouth. Likely because locally you were Chev or Ford and you defended your choice as fiercely as you did your political stripes or your religion. We were a Chev family. Fords were allowed in the driveway but just barely and the owner underwent a fair amount of ridicule.

A very inventive trailer. Excellent set.

Nice to know someone still appreciates how good they are. Our first car a Morris Minor had a split windscreen. Interesting set Peter.
