Great capture, the detail and clarity are superb.
It seems a little over saturated on the reds though!
I have done a mod and adjusted the reds down a bit and applied a tad of unsharp mask, what do you think!

Always love the way the snow throws back the light, but you in keeping the snow white it has increased the saturation on the breast. I had this same problem and after working on the shadows/highlights I then just reduced the saturation very slightly to get the right balance. The detail in the plumage and eye is first class as well, but the poor little tennis ball Robin is boxed in, it does need the space around it, and try not to clip the feet off.
Overall a great capture

Thanks Richard. Joe's camera is VERY heavy and I couldnt keep it quite still enough to get all the body in before he flew off.

Ms Curry always moans at me about chopping feet off - you have no idea how a day out with her reduces 99% of your images (which you thought were pretty good) to the bin, Jonah Wink

Anyway - I like him!!
