Hi Sally, I can see you have bravely attempted an in flight shot here, possibly one of the most difficult things to do. However with a shutter speed of 100/sec you haven't a cat in hells chance of getting the bird in focus, even at speeds of 1000/sec and plus can be difficult. You really need lots of light on a very bright day, wind up the ISO and try and achieve a minimum speed of 1500/sec.......and even then you may struggle to get perfect focus.
