Rook (adult)

By Chas05
Corvus frugilegus. This magnificent bird decided to visit the our bird feeding branch to pick up a few peanuts. Approx. 350 metres from our garden is a rookery. I had often noticed this Rook fly from his home nest high in the tree and glide effortlessly to our garden to see if there were any scraps to feed on and take back to his nest. It didn't take long for him to notice the peanuts resting on the branch! Dorset garden UK.
