Rook on driftwood (Not a Rook a Carrion Crow as commented below)

Came across this Rook sitting on a piece of driftwood along the beach. Saves getting its feet all sandy.

Lovely birds , I used to have a rook when I was a kid, it used to follow me everywhere,
Sorry Debs this is a carrion crow, rooks have longer grey beaks, and are normally found with other rooks. Carrions are more solitary like this one.
