Manual shot of a rose. Finally after many weeks of bare garden, flowers have started to grow Smile

Purple part is not due to over processing as straight out of the camera shot also consisted of it.

Its a nice Rose. The image is underexposed quite a bit Ishan, did you do anything in post processing? Did you use the cameras meter to assess exposure?

I loaded a mod, a little brighter, but there a lot of detail lost, so not a lot I can do with it.

let me know and I will check back.

Willlie: Yes i did post process it adding shadows to bring out the red color of the rose.

I am uploading straight out of the camera version of the picture. Hopefully it will help Smile

Framing is good.
Colour is a personal issue some would like it pink, some red, some true to the original.
The vital element that your photograph lacks is sunshine, not too much, but just enough to bring the natural colours out.
I can't believe this is shot in shade, it looks like being shot on a heavy overcast day to me.
-just confirmed that, saw your white balance settings-
Would flash be good solution to use? Could be.
But I bet nothing could beat a clear sky.
At least for sunbathing, lol.

I always find red hard to capture correctly
