Rose Chafer

By Pricey
Was doing a bit of weeding in the garden yesterday when I noticed this handsome chap among the flowers.
I rushed indoors to fetch my camera, came back and just as I was focusing, he flew off!

Today, my camera was at the ready, just in case he returned.

My luck was in, and here he is 'Cetonia aurata', or more commonly known as the Rose chafer.
