Rouge Gerbera Trio

By Leilani
Gerbera Daisies are the most charming of flowers and I especially love the powerful colour of red.

I took a whole load of images, experimenting with indoor photography and creating a soft box effect with a plastic plate of all things to diffuse the flash light. This particular image has been manipulated a fair amount with layers of blurring and textures as well as a flower half in picture cloned out in order, to achieve the desired look I was hoping to catch in the first place, but didn't achieve, hopefully giving it a more tidy appearance, nonetheless.

For Diane (Fefe) and anyone else interested in the Faery photos I mentioned last week, I have added a blog with the photos! You can view it here Smile

Hahaha...yes! They are not upside down as such they were a gift from a friend, and stood tall and proud but the weight of their heavy heads, made them flop, like tulips do. Smile

Right, gotcha !!!!.....stood on my head to see the inverted view, & it doesn't look quite right ???

Your explanation reveals all, & looking at the shot again, the light & shadows are eerily right ???....optical
illusion for my addled old brain !!!.Grin

Lovely colour to the flowers which carries through and mixes with the background brown. A well worked image, Loren.
