This proved a bit of a puzzle to me, Ron, as could not decide which section was to the f/g and I'm still not sure but am guessing the right hand side.
Looks like a spot where rocks were used to extract pigment for painting in days gone by.

Cetainly different Ron, good colours and lighting, first thought it was part of a christmas chocolate log and a candy barWink, how the eye can be deceived by the wonders of nature.

Certainly an image, which makes one think, look and ponder Ron. Without your pre-narrative I would have been somewhat stumped.

Ronnie got there first, but it's the light on the orange side that gives the game away as to which is the foreground. Superb colours.
