Rowan & Tigger

By tigertimb
Thankyou to everyone for the comments on Rowan and his dad yesterday. I thought I ought to give you some more shots of him, after he'd looked a little confused by the slide yesterday. I did have planned a set of about 10 to upload, but it's taken me this long to get the first one done!
#2 with a plainer background and #3 the original. The cutout took me ages, so I hope you like it Wink
All comments and criticisms very welcome

Thankyou everyone for the comments.
Vicky, this was about 9 months ago and my friends used to have a similar bouncer rigged up permanently in their house for him - certainly didn't need any encouragement to bounce Smile

It's Tigerrowan! There's a definite contrast in expressions here, Tigger's in control. Re backgrounds, V1 works better for me than the plain V2, I wonder how a darker BG would work? Not sure what colour though.

Thanks Ayelet, Moira and Paul; sorry I had meant to show the enormous smiles too; he was having loads of fun, but his expressions also do seem to change 100 times a minute!
Thanks for the suggestion Moira; I did try a darker background but didn't think it worked as well and preferred the bright and cheerful one. What I can also tell you is that it showed up a number of bits that I'd missed with the cutout, but it's late, I wanna go to bed and so I'm not going to try to do another version tonight Wink

Worth the trouble too a great Baby shot, food for thought I have a Baby shoot soon and want to make the best of it, thanks for the idea here. I like version 1 very much, is a great shot for parents to keep.. Chen.

Thankyou everyone and thanks for the mod Moira - the racing green is an inspired choice and a lot better than the darker backgrounds I'd tried. As a result, I may have a try with using a de-focused tree to add a bit of texture, but as you've discovered, I'm not relishing more cutout work around the fur!
