Royal Python

By gsdarri
Another image from my collection of snakes
Made use of the good weather we had by letting the snakes out to enjoy the sunshine on the grass.
Her eyes are a little dull in this image due to her just going into her shed cycle some snakes it doesn't take long couple of days others it takes a week or to before they shed fully.
We can normally tell with this one as she goes rough on her head a few weeks before she completes the full shed cycle unfortunately she's not a good shedder so we often have to assist her with her tail and eye caps which she's not that keen on as royals are very shy and nervy snakes.
Hope you enjoy Smile

Great close up of your snake. I have to go to the zoo to get so close and then there is a dirty piece of glass in the way. Sad Hope you and the snake can enjoy the rest of the summer in the garden. Elaine
